The show will run August 4th through the morning of August 6th.

2022 Poker Run on Payette Lake

Last year we had a great turn out, even in a COVID year … 9 boats and 24 people on a smoky fun day. This year we want to keep the fun going and increase participation to all who want to have a great day on the waters of Payette Lake.

Event:                     Club poker chip run on Payette Lake.

Date:                      Saturday, July 9, 2022

Time:                      Launch/meet at 9:30am – finish about 1pm

Place:                     Launch as needed and meet at 9:30am for the start at the long public dock at Art Roberts Park in downtown McCall. More details and a map of all the stops will be sent to those registered a few days before the event.

Docking:                  All stops will have adequate docking or beaching space.

Purpose:                 This is just a club get-together to visit with one another and share our competitive spirits.

Food:                      At the last stop the club will provide box sandwiches, chips and soft drinks/water. We will get everyone’s selection prior to July 9th and the food will be delivered to this stop, ready to be enjoyed when we arrive. Wine, beer and other alcoholic beverages must be provided by attendees.

Details:                   Chase For The Chip Run is a five stop on lake poker run. This year we want to mix it up a bit and will do a poker chip run.

Each participant will buy an official printed scorecard for $20 at the initial start location. This cost includes you lunch and drinks on the beach at the last stop. You can buy and play more than one scorecard if you wish for an additional $5 each. But each person must buy the first card for $20.There will be five stops on the lake that covers the entire lake. Stops will be announced at the start of the run with a map. At each stop each player will randomly pick a colored poker chip from a bag. This is not a timed event, rather a fun ride around the lake in our classic boats. You won’t know the value of the chip color you pick until the last stop. At the last stop we will blind draw for the value of each color chip, so you won’t know if you have a good hand until we announce each color’s value. We will tally the hands and announce winners. Prizes will be awarded for highest value, second highest value and lowest value. Prizes will be gift cards this year.

Register:                 By July 1, 2021 so we can coordinate food and other tasks. RSVP to chuckdollar3@gmail.com or Gregory.Plummer@ppd.com with the number that will attend and boat you will be bringing.

Event Type:  This is a member only event. Members can bring as many guests as their boat will hold though.
