Twenty Years on the Water
Founded on Payette Lake in 2006. Still here. Still running.
It Started with a Handful of Boat Owners
The Payette Lakes Chapter was officially recognized as an ACBS chapter in May of 2006. There were 26 founding members. No budget, no sponsor. The members themselves funded the first boat show.
The club grew from a simple idea: wooden boat owners in the McCall area wanted a place to share what they knew, show what they loved, and find others who understood why they chose the harder path.
Today the chapter covers southern Idaho, northeastern Nevada, and western Utah, and hosts one of the most distinctive boat shows in the Mountain West.

Links That Tells Our Story
What We're Here to Do
We preserve antique and classic boats. We restore them, run them, and make sure people who've never seen one up close have the chance to.
We welcome members who don't yet own a boat. We have knowledge, tools, and experience to share — and room on our boats for people who just want to ride.
Our events, our show, and our community exist to generate enthusiasm for these boats and the craft behind them.

The People Who Keep Things Running
The Payette Lakes Chapter is run by an all-volunteer board. Reach us at PayetteLakesChapter@gmail.com.
